Some small information from the recent Weekly Shonen Jump magazine confirmed that Gotenks will be in Dragon Ball Super.
Some mini dialogue from Dragon Ball Super was revealed in the magazine by Masako Nozawa. Masaoko Nozawa is the Japanese voice actress for Goku, Goten, Gohan.
The dialogue said:
Goku: Hi! I’m really happy to see you all! Gohan: Dad, it’s really great to all! Goten: Wow! We will still be able to merge a lot of times with Trunks! Goku: Friends! You should definitely look at us!
This confirmation means Goku, Gohan, Goten and Trunks will return in Dragon Ball Super. Not only that, but Goten and Trunks will still fuse to become Gotenks.
It’s safe to say Dragon Ball Super will include most of the other favorite characters like Vegeta, Piccolo and Krillin. It will be interesting to see how many other characters return in the new series.
Dragon Ball Super won’t be taking place too long after Dragon Ball Z from the looks of things. The new TV series is set to take place directly after Resurrection F.
Dragon Ball Super will makes its triumphant return in Japan from July 5th. It will be aired weekly every Sunday.
