It could be a few months until we hear anything more about Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V. Revealed last November, the upcoming open-world game that is set to return players to San Andreas won’t be seeing any new details this month, or next.

Rockstar made an official statement in the on the Max Payne 3 fan Q&A page on the Rockstar forums. “First of all, we’d like to again thank you and everyone out there for the amazing response to the debut Grand Theft Auto V trailer. We know that there are a ton of questions you all have about the game, including release date and lots else,” the Rockstar employee said addressing the fans.

“Right now, we are very hard at work on the game and are excited as well to show and tell you more as development progresses – expect that we’ll be talking much more about GTA V starting at some point in a few months time. Please hang tight until then and thank you all for your patience and support!

Rumors had suggested that Rockstar might be unveiling some new details about the game as early as this month, but it looks like that will not be happening. Take Two also recently commented on the development process for Grand Theft Auto V and claimed the development to be coming along well. Looks like the long wait is on.
