The ridiculously popular online collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is finally available on your phone. Previously only available on PC, Mac, and Tablet devices, Hearthstone became available on the Apple App Store earlier today for iPhone. An Android version is expected to hit the Google Play Store and Amazon App Store later today as well, making it widely available on the two biggest mobile platforms.

Very few changes are actually needed to port Hearthstone down to the mobile platform. The game already isn’t very graphically intense, so most phones should be able to handle it with ease. The main concern is the UI, as it could become cluttered on the smaller screen. To combat this Blizzard modified the game’s user interface, shrinking it down while making sure all of the usual functionality was preserved.

To celebrate the release Blizzard is offering a special promotion. Anyone who downloads and plays one game in Hearthstone for mobile will receive a free Classic card pack from the original Hearthstone deck. You don’t have to win the game or anything, just play one and you will receive the prize.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a free-to-play game, allowing you to dive right in without paying any money. To gain new cards you can grind through the game, earning gold and buying packs, or you can spend some real money to buy additional packs. The game had over 25 million accounts as of January 2015.
