When Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain comes out this week, there will be a day-one update patch for you to download before you play it.
As reported by GearNuke, the update patch is version 1.01 and is out for all the console versions of the game.
The size of the update is 421MB on PS4, 150MB on PS3 and 750MB for the Xbox One platform. The update fixed a few things, although it’s nothing too major.
The patch notes for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain update are: “Additional features and enhancements for FOB missions” and “Overall optimization and stability enhancements.”
An update has also been released for Ground Zeroes. This update allows you to transfer your save data from Ground Zeroes onto The Phantom Pain. Doing so allows you access to more costumes and other goodies.
Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain is the last in the series to be written and directed by Hideo Kojima. It is shaping up to be the best game of 2015. Despite the background drama surrounding the game’s development, Kojima and his team still managed to complete it and make it great.
It will be interesting to see what type of games Kojima makes in the future now that he has parted ways with Konami.
