A few days ago it was confirmed that Quantum Break is coming to the PC platform via Windows 10. However, the game won’t be available for you to purchase on the Steam platform.
Steam is the most popular digital storefront for PC gamers. There are loads of games available on Steam but it appears gamers will have to buy Quantum Break elsewhere.
Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg confirmed this during the latest episode of Major Nelson’s podcast. The game will be a Windows Store exclusive so this ends the possibility for the game heading to Steam in the near future. This makes sense as Microsoft would want more customers visiting their store as opposed to something owned by Valve.
Speaking about the game itself, Greenberg feels the Xbox One has another “masterpiece“. He is confident that developer, Remedy Studios, has made another fantastic game as good as their previous work such as Max Payne and Alan Wake.
Quantum Break is shaping up to be one of the more unique games to be out in 2016. It is no ordinary looking third-person shooter as the time bending elements adds a new twist to the genre. Not to mention the addition of Hollywood actors also increases the game’s credibility.
