The story that was posted earlier today with the countdown styled in the Modern Warfare 3 graphic, and the dog tags that were sent out to press, was all an elaborate hoax? Â Just a short time ago Geoff Keighley of GTTV did some digging and contacted Activision for clarification on the rumor. Â An Activision representative told him that reveal was not coming next week.
Expecting a Call of Duty reveal next week? Spoke to Activision and they want to make very clear it's not happening next week.

I'm looking into this some more. Maybe it's a publicity stunt by EA for Battlefield or another publisher? Anyone know more?
