Some scans from a Japanese magazine has confirmed several new characters that will be in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. These characters should be familiar to fans of the Dragon Ball Z movies and TV series.

Saiyan Island uploaded scans from the Japanese magazine and we can see several characters that haven’t been announced for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 yet until now. One of the characters that is joining the roster is Cooler.

Cooler is the older brother of Frieza and you can see him in both his base form and final form. Fans will remember him from the animated Dragon Ball Z movies. These movies aren’t really “canon”, however they are cool to watch as some of the villains are arguably better than in the actual TV series/manga.

Some other characters revealed in the scans include some henchmen. Zarbon is seen in a screenshot with the player’s character saluting him. Zarbon was pretty much just a minion to Frieza and wasn’t too strong. The other characters are Jeice and Burter from the Ginyu Force.

The screenshot featuring the Ginyu Force is interesting because it looks like Turles is ruining the timeline and using them as his own henchmen. The game is taking a lot of liberties as the timeline allows players to explore a lot of different scenarios. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be out later this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
