Early next year PlayStation 4 gamers will be getting the highly-anticipated Nioh, which is the long-delayed game from Team Ninja. While we’ve known that there would be both a standard and deluxe edition of the game, we’re now learning what’s in store for those who decide to pay more for the deluxe or pre-order either edition.
The deluxe edition of the game will come with (surprise) the game, a weapon pack that contains 5 new weapons, a PS4 avatar and the game’s season pass containing all of the DLC. However, if you pre-order either edition of the game then you will also receive the Nioh armor and a Nioh dynamic PS4 theme.
Also, pre-ordering the game or purchasing it through the PlayStation Store within the first two weeks of the game launching will get you the Crimson Master armor, which you can check out by clicking right here.
Game director Yosuke Hayashi also discussed the enhancements that the game will enjoy on PS4 Pro, saying “I’ve always felt that games on PlayStation were very visually compelling, but now seeing these games on PS4 Pro, my perception has exceeded that. Gamers don’t compromise on things like frame rate, so we really focused on maximizing the power of those particular aspects and introduced lots of visual options. For example, one is to play the game at a targeted 60 frames per second at 1080p — it was great that I was able to realize this through PS4 Pro.”
Nioh will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4 on February 9th, 2017. You can check out our impressions of the game’s first demo by clicking right here.
