The Australian Classification Board has now rated No Man’s Sky earlier this month and the game received the PG rating. It appears the game will be suitable for people of all ages so you won’t be seeing any graphic violence or anything like that.

As seen on No Man’s Sky’s listing, the game has been rated as PG. The consumer advice says: “Mild science fiction themes and violence, online interactivity“. Online interactivity will be unique because the likelihood of running into other players appear to be very slim. The universe in the game is very large so it will be a rare occurrence if you meet up with your friends.

In terms of actual content, the game only has a mild impact on themes and violence. The game is mostly about exploration even though there is a bit of action involved. There is no narrative as players are forced to make up their own stories much like in Minecraft. The game has no bad language, drug use, nudity or sex.

No Man’s Sky will finally be out on August 9th, 2016 in North America and August 10th, 2016 in Europe. It will be available for the PS4 and PC.
