PS4 owners will be happy to know that The Order: 1886 has officially gone gold as of today.

Ready At Dawn’s CEO, Ru Weerasuriya, confirmed this on Twitter:

“#TheOrder1886 has officially gone Gold! Here’s to everyone who walked the road with us! @RAD_Studios @PlayStation “

Going gold basically means that development for The Order: 1886 has been completed. This is good news as this means the game will meets its February 20th release date. There shouldn’t be any more delays to the game’s production.

The Order: 1886 was originally going to be released in the latter half of 2014. Ready At Dawn however needed more time to work on the game so it had to be released in February 2015 instead.

Hopefully the extra time ensured Ready At Dawn to iron out any bugs and glitches in The Order: 1886. Speaking from experience, the preview code that was released still had some issues in it. The full game should hopefully have rectified these problems.

Along with Bloodborne, The Order: 1886 will be one of the first exclusives for the PS4 platform for the year of 2015. Expectations are quite high as many people have praised the visuals for the game. It will be interesting to see if the gameplay and story in the full game is as impressive as the graphics.
