Konami has now announced that player celebrations and more animations have been added to PES 2016.

Konami made the announcement on the official PES 2016 website. New to the PES series is allowing you to actually “choose your own celebration“.

After you score a goal in PES 2016, button prompts will appear that will allow you to do your own trademark celebrations. It is pretty much taking a page out of EA Sports’ FIFA series as they have added something similar.

Konami also has added more animations in PES 2016. They’ve touted this as “Human Motion Feature” as the game has three times more animations than ever before.

The animations not only make the gameplay in PES 2016 more realistic, but will also help capture the bright personalities that football’s biggest stars have.

Little things have been added to PES 2016 as players will argue more to the referee. Goalkeepers have also got more save animations too while players themselves have a variety of different shots.

Not to mention the ball physics in PES 2016 have also been improved to make the game a more realistic experience. Konami has intentions to make the franchise a contender again. It will be interesting to see if it can capture some of FIFA’s fans.
