It looks like Rainbow Six fans will be treated with the next entry in the franchise, Rainbow Six Siege this October. It is an interesting move to release it so close to the release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, but I guess Ubisoft wants October to be Ubisoft month.
Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege will be available on October 13th. The game will pit players against each other in an online shooter that will have players choosing from twenty (20) different operators. Players can choose to favor various abilities like jamming enemy communications, building barricades, or players can choose to destroy them with either a sledgehammer or ranged explosives. Every choice the player makes will have some effect on their team and how the mission is carried out.
On top of the release date, Ubisoft has put together a little cinematic Rainbow Six Siege trailer to showcase the reveal. It shows off a few operators and their abilities and includes some lovely slow-motion to compliment the destruction and gunfire. Check it out below.
Rainbow Six Siege is set to release on October 13th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Just about ten days before Ubisoft’s next major release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
