An updated box art for Titanfall 2 PC has been shared online. The box art clearly says the game doesn’t come with a disc as you will have to download the full game.

The box-art was shared on NeoGAF (via Wario64) and you can clearly see that it says that it’s “download only”. Titanfall 2 will have no disc included if you purchase the game on PC.

It also says at the bottom of the cover that an internet connection is required for product activation. Obviously an internet connection is required since you won’t be able to download the game in the first place.

This might not annoy many gamers since most PC players digitally download video games 100% of the time. It’s just worth mentioning if you plan on buying the game on PC at a retail store. You won’t be missing a disc because no discs have been included in the first place.

Titanfall 2 isn’t the first PC game to forego a physical disc even though you can buy it at a retail store. Fallout 4 on PC required users to download most of the data online while other recent video games have followed suit too. It appears EA knows PC gamers don’t like using discs anymore…

Battlefield 1 doesn’t come with a disc on PC in North America. It’s possible Titanfall 2 is the same way. Maybe there is a small chance other countries might include a disc if their internet is not up to speed.
