Square Enix announced via a press release: “Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, and Nixxes Software today announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration has completed development and will be released worldwide on October 11. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara becomes more than a survivor, and embarks on her first Tomb Raiding expedition in search of the secret of immortality. She’ll explore a vast and hostile world, engage in guerilla combat, and discover deadly tombs.”
The PS4 version of the game adds many DLC extras as well as PlayStation VR support. Not to mention all of the previous DLC available for the Xbox One and PC versions are also included in this great package.
All of the new content in this edition will also be available for PC and Xbox One owners that purchased the Season Pass. If you already completed the game, the extras out in October might entice you to play the game again. Mark your calendars for October 11th as that is when the fun begins.
