Devil May Cry 5 may have been teased for those who managed to complete Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition on the hardest difficulty.

Twitter user “HyperBitHero” posted the photo you see above. This screenshot from Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition apparently occurs when you complete the game on “Heaven or Hell” mode.

If you can see the image above it says: “Congratulations! Thank you for playing! See you Next Devil May Cry!!”

This message appeared on Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and not on the recent DmC re-release. It sounds like the next game in the series could be Devil May Cry 5 and not a sequel to DmC.

However, this might be a tease but not a full confirmation obviously. Capcom stated the state of the franchise depends on how many people will buy Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. If you want to see a new game in the series, you better by the latest remake.

A lot of people have been wanting Devil May Cry 5 ever since 2008. Sadly, Capcom decided to reboot the series instead and they got DmC. That game wasn’t really well received by fans and has had a polarizing reception ever since it came out in 2013.

Are you hoping Capcom announces a new game from the franchise soon?
