If you own an Xbox One and have EA Access, you can get to play Star Wars Battlefront already as of today.
This is one of the benefits of being an EA Access subscriber. You can get to play blockbuster EA games five days earlier than everyone else.
EA Access members can get to play the full version of Star Wars Battlefront for 10 hours maximum. During the 10 hours, you get access to the full game and you can also earn some achievements ahead of the release too.
Think of this like a 10 hour rental. You can then decide to buy the full game and play as long as you want once it officially releases on November 17th.
Bear in mind the EA Access period is only available for a select number of people that paid for the service. One user on Twitter noted that he’s struggling to find other players.
EA Access responded: “Since only EA Access members can play the Star Wars Battlefront trial, you may see fewer players online until launch.”
Keep that in mind if you are playing the game already on Xbox One. Obviously more people will be online when the game comes out in five day’s time.
