2014 was a huge year for Super Smash Bros. fans. Nintendo released two games in the series, one for 3DS and the other for Wii U. As a special offer for those who purchased both, Nintendo made it so that if you register both games on Club Nintendo you can receive the massive soundtrack for both games for free. However, this offer is coming to a close tomorrow, Tuesday, January 13th. If you are interested in receiving the Super Smash Bros. soundtrack CD and you already purchased both games you’ll want to head over to Club Nintendo and get them registered in time to qualify. Once you have registered the games you can order the soundtrack, which will be shipping some time in March 2015.
Buy and register both the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U games to receive a special soundtrack CD and Mewtwo DLC from Club Nintendo!
The soundtrack comes on two CDs, with the music separated between the two releases of the game. As we said, you’ll need to register both copies of Super Smash Bros. to qualify, but you have one extra day to actually place your order. It would be best not to wait though as the website has been known to go down during heavy traffic times.
The other special offer for owners of both games, the Mewtwo DLC, is still available as well and will continue to remain open until the end of March. This offer will allow players to download Mewtwo as a playable character on both Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. There has been some debate about whether the fighter will be offered to others for purchase, but it seems like an inevitability given enough time.
