Take-Two Interactive appeared at a business summit this week, where president Karl Slatoff was asked about the company’s franchises in this generation of games compared to the last. Slatoff claimed that their list of franchises is much bigger than it was just a few years ago and the list continues to get bigger and bigger as time goes on.

“Our IP situation, right now–it’s better than it’s ever been in the company’s history,” said Slatoff during the event. “We’ve got a lot of IP. We’ve got more IP than we can even deal with at this point in time and we’re always looking at generating new IP. So that is a very different circumstance than we were in back right before the Xbox 360 and PS3 launched.”

The company’s size has steadily increased over recent years, with their developer count doubling over the last few years alone. It’s safe to say that we’ll be getting even more franchises from them as time goes on, with the company continuing to be a major success.

It was recently revealed that Take-Two is planning on having a big presence at this year’s E3, with lots of content to share during the June event. Stay tuned as more information regarding Take-Two’s E3 showing comes to light.
