Tekken 7: Sounds Like Jun Kazama May Not Be In The Final Roster

If you are a fan of Jun Kazama, Bandai Namco might disappoint you as it sounds like she might not be added into the final roster for Tekken 7.

A fan asked Tekken 7’s producer, Katsuhiro Harada, on Twitter if the game will have Jun Kazama. His answer does not sound very promising which is bad news for fans.

He replied on Twitter: “We couldn’t get an enough audience on TAG2(about her)“. From that response, it sounds like not many people played as her in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 so they might leave her out in the new game.

From a storyline standpoint, Jun Kazama has been dead for many years. She was only brought back in Tekken Tag Tournament because that game wasn’t canon. Tekken 7 is a proper game in the main storyline so she won’t be revived or anything like that.

However, fans of Jun could always bombard Bandai Namco and she could be added as future DLC if enough people demand her to be in the game. Harada already talked with members of the team in order to add Lei Wulong in it. He confirmed this in another new tweet.

Tekken 7 is still in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC so there is plenty of time for you to request new characters to be added. Many characters are still not in the game yet…
