Tom Clancy’s The Division is available now, yet many people cannot seem to log in to the servers as they are getting error messages all of the time.
The servers are working for some people, although many have commented on Twitter that they are having trouble with Tom Clancy’s The Division. They cannot play it since it is an always online video game.
The error message they receive says: “The Division services are not available at this time. Please try again later“. Another message is similar but says “Ubisoft services” in lieu of “The Division services“.
It’s worth mentioning the game just launched in North America so it’s possible Ubisoft cannot handle the demand right now. Over 6 million people played the beta, so it’s possible millions of gamers are now logging in to play the game for the first time.
Sadly, no official Ubisoft social media accounts have given us an update on the situation yet. All we have are a lot of angry gamers voicing their frustrations online.
Hopefully Ubisoft fixes the servers very soon as this game has no offline modes. The game is pretty much useless without the servers. If you have the game, the best thing you can do is wait.
Update: Ubisoft support noted: “We’re currently aware of an issue impacting our games and services and we’re actively investigating to deploy a solution as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We will update you here with more information as it becomes available. Thank you.“
