Not a lot has been revealed about WWE 2K17 yet, but 2K Games has revealed that it will be out later this year and will still keep the October release window.
The official WWE 2K Facebook page shared Take-Two’s recent financial report. Scrolling down the page you can see that WWE 2K17 has been confirmed to be released in the month of October 2016.
Normally WWE games have come out in late October and the last Tuesday for that month lands on October 25th. However, a definite release date has yet to be named so we have to wait and see for now.
It’s interesting to note that it has a “TBA” in terms of the platforms that the game will be released on. Last year, WWE 2K16 came out for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
It’s possible 2K17 could ditch the aging PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. This year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare decided to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One only.
WWE 2K17 could have the biggest roster in franchise history thanks to all of the new additions that have joined the company as of late. AJ Styles is arguably the most requested to be in the game plus several NXT wrestlers could be added too.
