The Dragon Ball Xenoverse beta happened for some PS3 gamers earlier this month and some multiplayer gameplay footage has now surfaced.
Aokaizoku has uploaded some new footage of Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s multiplayer offering on YouTube. The video is over eight minutes long and takes a good look of new gameplay that fans will see next year when the full game should be out.
The first match from the Dragon Ball Xenoverse video is between Goku and Piccolo. The gameplay should look familiar to fans of the series of Dragon Ball Z video games. It still has fast gameplay and the camera is still from the “over-the-shoulder” style perspective.
It’s also worth noting the video of Dragon Ball Xenoverse is from the PS3 version of the game. The beta was only available for PS3 gamers for some reason and invites to it were very limited. The game should look a lot crisper on the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
The other matches that were shown are Tien vs. Raditz, Gohan vs. Nappa and lastly a match between two created characters. The two created characters look a lot like the grown up version of Gohan.
There is no specific release date for Dragon Ball Xenoverse yet, but it should be out in early 2015 sometime.
