It appears there will be a physical release for the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition. Amazon has listed it and it’s out next month.
If you go to Amazon’s website, you can see that they have put up Battlefront’s Ultimate Edition for both PS4 and Xbox One. It has a release date of November 18th, 2016 and has a recommended retail price of $39.99.
This version of the game is what you may call the “complete edition”. It has the base game as well as all of the DLC that has been released for the Season Pass. This includes the Expansions of Bespin, Outer Rim, Death Star and even Rogue One: Scarif.
With all the expansion packs and the base game, you get access to over 30 maps, 14 heroes and 14 game modes. You have to remember that this release of Battlefront only includes content from Rogue One and the original trilogy. You won’t see any content from the prequels or The Force Awakens.
This Ultimate Edition is good news for gamers that waited to buy the game. The base game felt “empty” but this version includes everything. Sure you have to wait a year later, but you don’t have to pay as much as those that paid for the game and DLC earlier.
