If you’re interested in checking out Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 when it launches later this month then you’re in luck, as you have a chance to do so for free this weekend. The game’s open beta has just gone live on PlayStation 4, offering a solid slice of the game for everyone to get a feel for what it has to offer.
The beta allows you to create your own character and take part in a handful of quests that open up the full game, as well as being able to take on other players online. Those who have played the first game will know what they’re getting into with the sequel, though there are some improvements over the first that fans will be glad to see. The beta will be available until October 17th.
We were actually able to take part in the closed beta that took place last weekend, and our experience was positive overall. However, there are some problem areas that we need to keep an eye on for when the full game launches, which includes problems with ally AI. You can check out our impressions of the beta by clicking right here.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 25th.
