The Coalition has announced that a new update patch is now available to download for Xbox One owners of Gears of War 4.
The Coalition posted details of the new Gears of War 4 patch via the official forums. It’s to help address hitching issues in the Xbox One version of the game. Details are posted below.
We will have a title update available to address the hitching issues that players have been experiencing in game. This will help iron out any user still experiencing this that has not done any of the workarounds we posted about the other day. This update is for Xbox One only. PC did not experience this issue. Please make sure to download this to help correct this issue.
UPDATE 1: Hi all – Just wanted to note that for offline LAN plan between PC/XB1 – There will be a version mismatch until our next big large title update. As PC did not experience the hitching issue, it is sitting at a different version than PC. Cross play online though works totally fine as mismatched versions can still work. Thanks!
Gears of War 4 just came out earlier this month so The Coalition is sure to support the game for the foreseeable future. We should hear news of DLC and more very soon.
