One of the heaviest criticisms of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 when it released last month, was that one of the game’s characters, Sentinel, was extremely overpowered. Â It was voiced by novices and professionals alike, but the end result was that the character was used in excess in the game’s online battles. Â
In a recent update to the game, Capcom has addressed the issue by toning down the character.
The character is said to have been given around a 25% “nerfing”. Â Meaning that the amount of damage that the character could take has been reduced significantly. Â Hopefully now, we’ll see less of the giant purple death machine and more creative character combinations as a result. Â
Sentinel isn’t the only thing that was addressed in the patch. Â Capcom also added new challenges and unlockables in the patch.
