Madcatz has announced at PAX Prime this weekend some new PS4 controllers for use for Street Fighter 5.

Two new PS4 controllers were revealed by Madcatz via a Twitch stream from PAX Prime. The new peripherals will make sure fighting game fans are good enough to compete at tournament level.

The first controller revealed is pictured above. It’s the Fightpad Pro and comes with the traditional six-button combination. The colors in the pipeline includes: red, black, blue and white. The controller is compatible for both the PS3 and PS4 consoles.

The other peripheral revealed is the Fightstick Alpha. It’s much smaller than other tournament style sticks, but the controller will be more suited for fans that like joysticks as opposed to the analog stick.

Both of these Street Fighter 5 branded controllers are early in development so their designs could change between now and next year. Madcatz didn’t announce pricing or release date details yet. It’s likely they will come out by the time the actual game comes out next year.

As for Street Fighter 5 news, PAX Prime just revealed that Rainbow Mika will be in the game. Some attendees have had a chance to play the game too. The game is looking good so far.
