It’s almost that time of year where sports games reign supreme and PES 2016 is one of those that will be part of the bunch. Coming from Konami as the annual rival to EA Sports’ FIFA, gamers will be able to get their hands on the demo for PES 2016 much sooner than expected.
Just ahead of Gamescom, it has been revealed that the demo for PES 2016 will be arriving for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 next Thursday, August 13, according to PES Fans.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is still about a month and a half away, with a release scheduled for September 15, so this is plenty of time for people to enjoy the demo and get used to the new upgrades.
That was not the only PES 2016 news to come out this morning, as it as revealed that there will be two athletes on the cover this time. Joining the previously announced Neymar Jr. is Juventus star Alvaro Marata.
This choice for a co-cover athlete is a great pick, with Marata also playing for the UEFA Champions Football League, which is how he is dressed on the cover, and UEFA is the major license that PES has managed to hold over FIFA, including their recent signing of a three year extension.
