It appears the servers for Star Wars Battlefront are not holding up as they should. Several people cannot find to play a game online at the moment.
Star Wars Battlefront has now been officially released in North America, yet several gamers cannot find an online match. You can see that several people on Twitter have been voicing their concerns.
I played the game before it came out (via EA Access) and the online portion worked fine. However I tried to play the game online again on launch day, and it appears those people are right. I couldn’t find to play a game online too. The servers are not working at the moment. I played the game on Xbox One by the way.
Bear in mind, the game has only been out in North America 30 minutes ago as of time of writing. Hopefully as the day goes by, EA will fix servers so that players can start playing the game that paid.
PAL users might be luckier because the game isn’t out yet. It’s not out until November 19th in Australia and New Zealand. November 20th serves as the game’s release date in Europe. Maybe EA’s server woes for the game will be fixed by then.
We will update this post to let you know when the servers are online and ready to go. It’s patchy at the moment.
Update: Ask PlayStation tweeted: “We’re aware that some users are having trouble accessing Star Wars Battlefront. Thanks for your patience as we investigate.“
