Gears of War: Judgment is readying for release on March 19th and the obligatory launch trailer for the upcoming prequel has just been released. Fan sentiment for the popular Xbox exclusive is mixed at this point due to some controversial changes that the developers have announced.
With Gears of War: Judgment taking place 14 years before the original Gears of War, you’ll be fighting a battle that “gets back to basics” for the Gears franchise. Instead series protag Marcus Fenix, the main character in Judgment is Baird, and the story will be told through a series of flashbacks. New multiplayer modes have also been announced for the shooter, which has traditionally been the big draw for the Gears franchise.
Gears of War: Judgment is due out on March 19th for the Xbox 360.
