Star Trek: The Video Game Launch Trailer Sets Phasers For Hotness

We don’t know why we’re so pumped about this title. By all accounts this game should be destined to become dreck, but we’ve got our fingers crossed for this. We’re not even Trekkies, not by a longshot, but this game actually looks like it’s going to be fun to play.

Sure, the graphics look a little dated and some of the voice actors sound like they’ve been recorded  through the Kinect microphone, but that is not going to deter our surprising amount of entusiasm for this game. Maybe it’s the voice acting, or maybe it’s the fact that the phantom touch of J.J. Abrams will be felt through playing the title. We can’t say. What we can say is that Star Trek: The Video Game is getting released tomorrow and we will find out if our enthusiasm is well founded. Watch the above trailer and let us know what you’re thinking.
