Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag features a brand-new engine which includes a Sea Engine to give the ocean a variety of colors and hues to be the most realistic ever made in games.

Black Flag also features a dynamic weather system which takes into account wind, volumetric fog, to create unpredictable weather patterns in the game.

Lighting has also been enhanced in Assassin’s Creed 4.  Utilizing next-gen techology, the weather and lighting of Black Flag is unlike any Assassin’s Creed game before it.

In this game that is centered around sailing the seas, players will also be able to board other ships in the campaign.

Assassin’s Creed 4 is due out later this year for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
