Xbox One Installation and Startup Video

This is what your Xbox One will look like when you first plug it in and turn it on. If you haven’t already got yours, then have a look at what you should expect.

The video is my own, and if I had to sum up the experience in a word it would probably be… ‘slow’. As you will tell when you watch, there were a number of times when I sped up the footage because it was minutes of the same boring screen. I funneled the video down to just under 10 minutes but I’d say it took at least half an hour in reality. That is taking into account quite fast download speeds as well, so it may take you longer to download the 502MB update that the Xbox One requires.

As Attack of the Fanboy covered earlier, users have been complaining about the Xbox One’s speed in other areas too.
