Crytek has a new multiplayer game in the works, and it’s not what you’re expecting. Arena of Fate was recently announced and teased with the trailer below, and it looks to be taking aim at the League of Legends and DOTA 2 crowds.

While not much is known about the game, it’s self described as an “action-packed online multiplayer game”. Arena of Fate is slated to arrive both on PC and consoles. A report from Curse reveals that the game pits historical and fantasy figures against one another in 5v5 battles, with each character having battle traits unique to their lore.

An Early Access Beta for Arena of Fate will arrive this summer, and the game will be playable at E3 2014. Beta sign-ups will be open at the game’s website, when it opens that is. Right now, it’s not much of a website.
