Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Released Early, Street Date Breach

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 has recently began popping up as available for sale at retailers.  Many of today’s highest profile releases suffer this same fate.  With smaller franchises looking to compete with the GameStops of the world, sometimes it’s the only action these mom and pop stores can take to compete.  High profile titles like Mass Effect 2, World of Warcraft Cataclysm, Modern Warfare 2, and others suffered similar fates.

It is rumored that there are retailers on the East Coast (New York) that are selling the game early in order to get revenue they otherwise couldn’t have.  As a gamer, I love when I can score a game early.  But I can totally see why Gamestop’s only recourse is to begin selling early as well.  Congratulations east coasters, but it looks like rest of are going to have to wait it out.
