The physical retail release for Dying Light has been basically delayed everywhere, apart from North America.

If you live in North America, you can ignore this post as Dying Light is being released as originally scheduled. For everyone else, the physical copy of the game has been delayed.

The official Dying Light Facebook page announced:

“There will be a short delay in the release of physical copies of Dying Light in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. The game will have a global digital release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC of January 27, 2015. As physical production has a longer lead time than digital there is some delay in the aforementioned territories. We will share information on the availability of physical copies as soon as it is confirmed.”

We can presume New Zealand is a part of this announcement too, since Australia has been affected. You don’t have to worry about Dying Light being delayed on digital platforms as that release date has been unchanged.

They didn’t announce a new release date for physical copies of Dying Light just yet. One would assume it would be released sometime in February once they sort out all of the shipments.
