We may still be a few months away from the re-release of Dark Souls II and its debut on next-gen platforms, but that doesn’t stop a new trailer from appearing and getting everyone excited to die all over again.

The new ‘Forlorn Hope’ trailer showcases some gameplay against the many larger-than-life enemies in the Dark Souls 2 universe. Fans will recognize many locales along with some new ones, while some might even be able to notice slight graphical changes. Hopefully the full release will fix some frame-rate issues that fans had with the original release during March of last year. Check out the trailer below for Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.

Dark Souls II: Scholar Of the First Sin will include the original Dark Souls II experience, all three DLC packs that were previously released and the new Scholar Of The First Sin content. You get all this in one package for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, on April 7th 2015. The Scholar of the First Sin update will also release on current gen consoles and PC tomorrow for free. The next-gen and Direct X 11 PC versions will include additional upgrades to sound, graphics and performance as well as a raise in maximum online players in a single session to six.
