Korean language support will be added to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

As reported by Metal Gear Informer, Hideo Kojima confirmed this news during an online conference from Sony Computer Entertainment Korea. Kojima announced in a pre-recorded video that the Korean language will be supported in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This will be done via Korean subtitles and menus to be added to the game.

Metal Gear Informer also noted that the Russian and Chinese languages will be supported in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as well. It appears localization has been very important to Kojima and Konami. They want this game to be played and enjoyed by people all around the world.

Adding all of these foreign languages to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain may be a reason why Konami has not announced a release date for the game yet. Konami plans to release the game simultaneously around the world. This means everyone will have to wait for translations for other languages to be added in.

It sounds like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is very close to ending its development anyway. Konami still plans to release the game in 2015.
