Black Ops Escalation Double XP Event Announced

In what has turned into a double XP celebration with every map pack release, Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation will be no different.  Treyarch has announced that they will be running a double XP weekend starting on May 6th.  To commemorate the launch of the multiplayer expansion you’ll get as good a chance as any to pretige up while the XP is flowing at twice the pace.

The Escalation pack is scheduled to launch on May 3rd in the US exclusively for the Xbox 360 and will run you around 1200 MSP.  The pack comes equipped with four new multiplayer maps as well as a brand spanking new zombies mission that hasn’t been revealed as of yet.  The developer walkthrough trailer was released yesterday by Treyarch and you can find that here.
