The Legend of Zelda franchise has always had a number of different game styles in its history and a multiplayer mechanic was introduced in the Four Swords series. While not using the same name, it looks like we’ve finally got the follow-up we’ve wanted on that series with The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes.
You get to use different Links as before and even can use different clothing to acquire new skills and abilities and you use cooperative play to make it through levels.
The killer feature in Triforce Heroes will be cooperative online play, which is new to the franchise. Previously you had to have people playing locally with you on the others, but with the inclusion of online, you can play with random players over the web. This should be both great and frustrating at times I’m sure.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes will arrive in Fall 2015.
Make sure to stay tuned all day and for the rest of the week to Attack of the Fanboy for the best coverage on not only this, but plenty more. For all of the info you may have missed over the last two days, make sure to check out our past news and articles.
