The Dragon Ball Super manga is up to the Champa saga already and some exciting new details have been revealed.
If you have been following the TV series, there are some spoilers ahead so read at your own discretion. The details give us new information on the new characters.
Saiyan Island posted more details on the manga. Some interesting things are gathered from the dialog and script.
First of all, the name of the female Whis was revealed. Her name is Vados and she is actually the older sister of Whis. As for Champa, he is the fatter brother of Beerus. They are supposed to be twins.
It also sounds like Akira Toriyama decided to rename the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form to something less tongue twisting. It is hinted that the new form will now be simply known as “Super Saiyan Blue” instead. A much easier name to say than the previous one.
All of this takes place after the events of Resurrection F. It will be several weeks until the TV series manages to catch up to this part. However, all of this stuff is new as it’s not events we have experienced before in animated movies like the previous sagas.
