After so many years of waiting, the next Star Wars movie is upon us in only a few days with the release of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. Disney is being extremely careful with leaks surrounding this movie, but the movie just had its red carpet premiere, which has brought the first reactions that sound very impressive.

According to the LA Times, the red carpet premiere for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens was full of people, including dressed up celebrities like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rainn Wilson.

Following the end of the movie, reports say everyone leaving had giant smiles on their faces. The LA Time’s own Glenn Whipp said on Twitter that the movie was “Quite simply: This is the STAR WARS movie you’re looking for.”

Other reactions were very similar, saying just how Star Wars the movie was, which many complained the prequel trilogy just were not.

Obviously early Twitter reviews can’t always be taken seriously, but one person who you would think would be able to listen to is Patton Oswalt, comedian and actor who is known for his love of many things nerd, especially Star Wars. His review was short and simple on Twitter, where he said “JJ did it.” He went one step further by also saying that the movie had the best final shot of any movie in the franchise, which is quite a tall task to beat.

The first official reviews for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens will hit on Wednesday, but these early reactions seem to be incredibly positive, which is bound to make the wait even harder for us.
