The Marvel Cinematic Universe may be the name for their line of highly successful movies, but that continuity also stretches to TV as well through not only Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but also their Netflix series. Last April brought us the incredible Daredevil and now the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back again with a second season that is now available for streaming.

The first season of Daredevil received mass critical acclaim for its writing and tone, which was different than anything seen in the MCU to date. While original plans had four individual series coming out to eventually team up in The Defenders, Daredevil was so well loved that it got a second season.

Season one wrapped up Matt Murdock’s (Charlie Cox) origin story on how he evolved from just the man in the black mask to actually Daredevil, with him now fully wearing the costume. Season 2 picks up after that and returns a number of characters from the first season.

However, the big hype around season two is that it introduces a fan favorite in the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), as well as other major comic players like Elektra (Elodie Yung), which has people really excited.

If you are ready to start binging season two of Daredevil, you can do so right now on Netflix with all 13 episodes available for your watching pleasure. Also of note, Netflix also has put out another big title today with Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday, so for those who grew up in the ’80s watching Pee-Wee’s Playhouse and reading Daredevil comics, this could be a very nostalgia filled weekend for you.
