While Among the Sleep has made its way to several platforms now, it has yet to come to Xbox One. While the game is expected to be launching on the platform in the near future, the developer has just informed everyone of a delay that has set things back a little.
Developer Krillbite Studio took to Twitter to announce the delay, saying that, “The #XboxOne version of #AmongTheSleep is delayed because of a technical issue between Unity and Xbox One. Working with them to fix it!” How lengthy the delay will be and when they are planning to release the game remains a mystery, but it seems like it won’t be a major setback.
The game is a first-person horror game that puts you in control of a toddler who is being followed by monsters throughout the game. There is no way to defeat the monsters either, with the player having to run away or hide when they appear. The object of the game is to get through the various levels before being caught by your stalkers.
Among the Sleep originally launched for the PC in 2014, though it did make its way to PlayStation 4 in December of last year. Stay tuned for official release details for the Xbox One version when they become available.
