We’re just a week away from Batman vs Superman coming out to cinemas worldwide and fans don’t have to wait too long now for the first critic reviews to be posted online.
Freelance writer/film critic, Eric D Snider, posted information on the embargo over on his Twitter account: “Embargo on BATMAN V SUPERMAN reviews is 3 p.m. on 3/22, or 4 hours before the screening. Do NOT run your reviews prior to seeing the movie!”
Snider is a critic that is included on Rotten Tomatoes and he has reviewed tons of other movies on his official website. He’s likely to be one of the few lucky media folk that will be able to see the movie before anyone else come March 22nd, 2016.
However, the embargo is actually a day after the IMAX fan screening that occurs on March 21st, 2016. You’ll probably see some Twitter reactions and other impressions about the film early next week sometime before its March 25th release date in North America.
Reception for the film has been positive so far for those that have been able to see it earlier this year. The most famous mini review/reaction was posted by an Entertainment Weekly writer who said he liked the film.
Warner Bros. executives appear to be really high on Ben Affleck’s performance in Batman vs Superman which is why he’s getting his own solo movie.
Hopefully the movie’s reception goes well as this movie is important to kick-start the slate of other movies that Warner Bros./DC are releasing for the next several years.
