Hideo Kojima has been working on his first game with his new studio after parting ways with Konami for a while now, and now we’re getting our first pieces of information regarding the game. He recently did an interview on Weekly Famitsu, where he teased the game he is working on without giving away too much.

Kojima described the game as an action title, though confirmed that his team is still experimenting with the gameplay mechanics and its story. However, he did say that fans of Uncharted and The Division will more than likely have fun with it. He also teases that the game won’t seem as edgy as expected when it is finally announced.

Kojima’s last game was the critically-acclaimed Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which launched last year. Despite rave reviews, many fans were left unhappy over what appeared to be missing content that some assume was the result of Konami rushing development.

While we still don’t have a title or concrete details regarding Kojima’s upcoming game, we do know that it is expected to launch for PlayStation 4 and PC.
