Epic Games’ upcoming hero shooter is gearing up for the beginning of its beta weekends, but before that happens they have a new character that will be joining the battle. The character’s name is Riktor, who is described as a cyborg Support Tank with serious reach. He’ll be added into the game on Tuesday, May 31st.
Here’s Epic Games’ description or Riktor:
“The TL;DR on Riktor is that he is a melee tank who specializes in crowd control. He’s a powerful initiator who brings order to the battlefield by locking down targets and pacifying enemies. His Riplash ability reaches out with his electric chain and pulls in enemy Heroes and/or minions while dealing damage. His Shock Therapy disrupts enemies by silencing them and his Skewer Ultimate uses a web of chains to damage and stun everyone in his path.”
While Paragon isn’t officially out yet, an Early Access version has been available for some time now. There are currently three different packs that allow you to get into the Early Access version of the game, which are the $19.99 Founder’s Pack, the $59.99 Challenger’s Pack and the $99.99 Master Founder’s Pack. There will also be an open beta happening this Summer, though exact info on that has not yet been released.
Paragon is a free-to-play MOBA from Epic Games that is set to launch within the second half of 2016. It is currently set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PC, with more information being revealed at next month’s E3. You can check out the announcement trailer for Riktor below.
