All eyes are on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at the Nintendo Treehouse E3 stream with the game getting intensive playthroughs through the day. With this stream has come plenty of info, including some details about the weapon system in the game.

Since this is the start of the game, Link is stuck with the weaker weapons, such as the Rusty Broadsword they found in the stream. However, you have to be careful as these have limited uses, with the sword able to be broken.

On the other hand, while you can lose your weapons, you can also steal weapons from enemies like a Boko Spear to use. They said this could be done with enemies throughout the game, so it will be interesting to see what kinds of interesting and different weapons we can pick up.

This is something we kind of saw in The Wind Waker, but here it actually adds it to your item list rather than just picking it up as a temporary weapon.
