An Introduction to The Penguin of Batman: Arkham City

SDCC has been fruitful for video game enthusiasts.  Did you think they’d forget about you, Batman: Arkham City fan?  No, Rocksteady’s got you covered, and has released the latest trailer for Batman: Arkham City.  This new gameplay footage shows off more about The Penguin and of course, his plight to kill Batman.

Fans of the Batman lore, will definitely notice a difference in the way that Rocksteady has chosen to portray the villain.  The English accent, the less than bird-like appearance, Rocksteady already revealed that the character would have some changes, but he’s still a nasty SOB  nonetheless.

If you make it to the end of the trailer, which I know you will, you’ll get a first glimpse at Solomon Grundy, which is a character that hasn’t been revealed to this point.  How many more characters like this are waiting in the wings?  It definitely looks like Rocksteady’s got a few surprises to reveal in the coming weeks leading up to release of Batman: Arkham City on October 18th for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
