Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a new online mode in the game called Heroes vs. Villains.  The mode can be found in the multiplayer section of the game, and will pit you in 4v4 matches that allow the heroes of the Star Wars universe to battle the Villains.

The Hero side of this mode allows you to play with Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Rey, and Yoda.  The Villain side of this mode allows you to play with Boba Fett, Bossk, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, and Iden Versio.

Unfortunately when you start out you’ll have only a limited selection of heroes or villains to choose from as the majority of the characters must be earned through playing the game and earning currency to unlock them.  Starting out you’ll have access to Han Solo,Lando Calrissian, Yoda, and Rey on the Hero side.  For villains you can choose from Boba Fett, Bossk, Darth Maul, and Kylo Ren.

Unlocking these other characters can be done through the “Collection” Screen and will depend on whether you have enough credits to unlock them or not.

This mode has each team needing to attack a specific player on the other team, or defend one of your own.  Each team’s player count will tick down from 10 each time one of the enemy targets are defeated and the winner is the team who’s score does not reach zero first.
